Before you go
Tell us your preferred walking pace and any access needs. Historic centres, stairs and uneven ground can affect the route. We’ll discuss a suitable plan before you book.
We offer private driver, driver-guide, local guide and interpreter-guide services. Your proposal confirms the service and language. Drivers speak Portuguese and English; other languages and specialist guides are subject to availability. A translated website does not guarantee a driver who speaks that language.

Monument tickets, meals, tastings, activities and specialist guided visits are extra unless your proposal expressly includes them.
Where will you pick us up?
The exact duration and departure time are agreed in your proposal. We plan the route around your pickup, ticket times and travel pace.
Does my request confirm the booking?
Your request is saved securely by THE. This is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking or payment. Pedro will review availability and prepare your proposal.
Cancellation policy
These conditions follow THE’s service policy dated August 15, 2026. Separately agreed event, ticket and partner conditions are supplied before booking. Refunds below refer to the amount paid.
48 hours or more before the service: 100% refund. From 24 hours to less than 48 hours: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours: no refund. A no-show at the confirmed pickup place, date and time does not qualify for a refund.
If THE cancels for operational or safety reasons, or extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control prevent safe performance, you may choose an available replacement date or a full refund.
Traffic, closures and weather may affect the route. We communicate changes and seek to preserve the agreed duration and essential value.
Cancel in writing to info@thetour.pt with your name, booking reference and service date. Refunds normally use the original payment method; timing depends on the payment provider. We confirm arrangements in writing. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
