What is included in the tour service:

• Transportation: Round-trip transportation from Lisbon to Coimbra and Aveiro cities is included in the tour service. A comfortable and secure vehicle will be provided for your convenience. Feel free to book a premium vehicle for extra comfort.
• Insurance: All our activities are covered by liability and personal accident insurance.
• Experienced Driver: An experienced and knowledgeable driver will provide key point information about the attractions, history, culture, and curiosities of Coimbra and Aveiro. The service of an Interpreter Guide is an additional service (not included in this package).
• Entrance Fees to Attractions: Some of our tours include entrance fees, to find out more about the cost of entrance fees click here.
• Free Time for Exploration: The tour will include periods of free time for you to explore the attractions on your own, take photos, shop at local stores, or enjoy meals.
• Information and Cultural Context: In addition to information about the attractions, the driver will provide a broader cultural context about Coimbra and Aveiro, giving you a deeper understanding of the cities and its historical significance.

What is not included in the tour service:

• Interpreter Guide: The service of an interpreter guide comes at an additional cost.
• Accommodation: The 1-day tour package does not include overnight stay or accommodation, please talk with our assistant or choose a multiday tour option.
• Meals: Meals are not included in the tour service. You will be responsible for purchasing your own meals throughout the day.
• Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses, such as souvenirs, individual purchases, or extra costs, are not included in the tour price.
• Optional Activities: Activities or attractions not mentioned in the itinerary and not included in the tour entrance fees will be the participant’s responsibility.
• Gratuities: Tips for the guide, driver, or other service providers are not included and are optional, but generally appreciated.
• Extra Expenses: Any expense not explicitly mentioned as included in the tour will be the participant’s responsibility.

We took a full day tour with Ptsensations. Pedro was so amazing and welcoming. He had a perfect day planned out for us. We went to Pena Palace first and Pedro had tips for a great experience. Then we went to the westernmost point in Europe, which was so beautiful. Then to Cascais with lots of information between history and interesting facts. We had lunch in Cascais and saw beautiful beaches. Because we had some time left, he even took us to Belem to get us some sweets.
His vehicle was clean, air conditioned and he had wifi and chargers for us to charge our phones. It was a hot day and he had water for us. Overall it was an amazing day with a great guide. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a tour in Portugal

We booked through Pedro Tours and instantly wished we had met him earlier on our 4 day visit to Fatima. We were traveling with our 5 children to Fátima from Lisbon and Pedro demonstrated excellent knowledge of Lisbon, it's sights and history. He was very patient with our shopping and sightseeing in Fatima especially since we had originally booked him for transportation only. Cancellation policy

This policy applies to the tourism services provided by Portugal Sensation Tours, Lda, through the brand THE Travel & Tours, in Portugal.

Customer cancellation

• Up to 48 hours before the start of the service: full refund of the amount paid.
• Between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the service: 50% refund of the amount paid.
• With less than 24 hours’ notice: no refund will be issued.

Weather conditions and force majeure

If extreme weather conditions or events beyond our control prevent the safe performance of the service, the customer may choose between rescheduling for an available date or receiving a full refund of the amount paid.

Cancellation by the company

If the company cancels for operational or safety reasons, the customer may reschedule for an available date or receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Changes to the itinerary

Traffic, closures, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances may require adjustments to the itinerary. Any changes will be communicated and will seek to preserve the duration and essential value of the contracted service.

How to cancel

The request must be sent in writing to info@thetour.pt, indicating the name, booking number, and date of service.

Refunds

Refunds will be made, whenever possible, using the same payment method. The processing time depends on the payment method and the respective financial institution; confirmation will be sent in writing.

No-show

Failure to appear at the confirmed location, date, and time does not entitle the customer to a refund.

The conditions communicated and accepted at the time of booking are those that apply to the confirmed reservation. Updated on August 15, 2026.
