Day 1: Lisbon
We start our journey in the vibrant capital, Lisbon. Enjoy a stroll through the historic neighborhoods of Alfama and Bairro Alto, visit the majestic Jerónimos Monastery, and marvel at the view from the Senhora do Monte viewpoint. The evening is perfect for dinner in one of the traditional Fado restaurants.
Day 2: Sintra and Cascais
We head to the romantic town of Sintra, where you can explore the Pena Palace and the Quinta da Regaleira. Primarily we head to the picturesque town of Cascais, passing by Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe.
Day 3: Óbidos, Nazaré, and Fátima
The third day takes us to the charming medieval village of Óbidos, with its narrow streets and historic walls. Afterward we continue to Nazaré, famous for its giant waves, and end the day at the Fátima Sanctuary, an important pilgrimage site.
Day 4: Coimbra
Our next destination is the university city of Coimbra. Walk through the halls of the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest in Europe, and visit the impressive Joanina Library. Indeed the city also offers the Old Cathedral and the charming downtown area.
Day 5: Aveiro and Porto
Discover the “Venice of Portugal,” Aveiro, with its canals and colorful moliceiro boats. Consequently we then head to Porto, where the beauty of the Port wine cellars, the Lello Bookstore, and the imposing Clérigos Tower await us.
Day 6: Porto and Braga
We continue exploring Porto in the morning and then head to Braga, known as the “Portuguese Rome.” Visit the Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary and the Braga Cathedral, one of the oldest in the country. Therefore Braga is a must-see for its historical and religious significance.
Day 7: Guimarães and Douro
We explore Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, with its castle and the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza. Besides we dive into the stunning landscapes of the Douro Valley, famous for its terraced vineyards. Undoubtedly the Douro Valley offers some of the most breathtaking views in Portugal.
Day 8: Viseu and Serra da Estrela
Viseu is our next destination, a city full of history and charm. Hence from here, we climb to Serra da Estrela, where you can enjoy the mountainous landscapes and, if the season allows, even play in the snow.
Day 9: Évora
On the ninth day, we head to the Alentejo to visit Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although you may be tired from traveling, explore the Temple Roman, Évora Cathedral, and the Chapel of Bones. Moreover Évora’s rich history makes it an essential stop on our tour.
Day 10: Lisbon
We return to Lisbon for the last day of our trip, where you can enjoy some last-minute shopping or revisit your favorite spots before heading home. If extreme weather conditions or events beyond our control prevent the safe performance of the service, the customer may choose between rescheduling for an available date or receiving a full refund of the amount paid.

Changes to the itinerary
Traffic, closures, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances may require adjustments to the itinerary. Any changes will be communicated and will seek to preserve the duration and essential value of the contracted service.
How to cancel
The request must be sent in writing to info@thetour.pt, indicating the name, booking number, and date of service.
Refunds
Refunds will be made, whenever possible, using the same payment method. The processing time depends on the payment method and the respective financial institution; confirmation will be sent in writing.
No-show
Failure to appear at the confirmed location, date, and time does not entitle the customer to a refund.
