What is not included in the tour service:

While THE strives to offer a complete and personalized transportation service, there are certain items and services that are not included in our standard private driver package. Here is a list of what is generally excluded:

Excluded Services

Luxury Vehicles:
– A diverse fleet of high-end vehicles, including executive sedans, SUVs, limousines, and luxury vans.
– Vehicles equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and other modern amenities.
– Regular maintenance to ensure safety and comfort.

Additional Travel Costs:
– Tolls, parking fees, and entrance fees to restricted areas are not included and will be charged separately.
– Travel expenses for services outside the city or long-distance trips, such as driver accommodation and meals, if required.

Advanced Security Services:
– Personal security (bodyguards) or armed escorts are not included in the standard package and must be requested as an additional service.
– Surveillance and private security services beyond basic accompaniment.

Extraordinary Activities:
– Personal assistance (such as shopping or other personal tasks) is not part of the standard driver service.
– Any activity beyond driving and transportation logistics.

Extended Event Coverage:
– Services that exceed the initially agreed hours or require continuous availability for more than 10 hours without prior notice.
– Additional costs associated with extending the service must be discussed and approved in advance.

Entertainment and Food Costs:
– Alcoholic beverages, meals, or specific snacks are not included, except for mineral water provided on board.
– Any special catering or entertainment requests must be organized separately.

Damages or Exceptional Cleaning:
– Costs associated with damage to the vehicle caused by the client or the need for exceptional cleaning (e.g., extreme dirt, vomit, etc.) will be charged separately.

Last-Minute or Emergency Fees:
– Services requested on short notice or in emergency situations may incur additional fees.
– Last-minute cancellations or drastic itinerary changes may generate extra costs.

This cancellation policy applies to tourism services offered by Portugal Sensation Tours, Lda for tours and activities. Our priority is to ensure a positive and satisfying experience for all our customers. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that lead to the cancellation of a booking.

Below are the details of our cancellation policy:
Customer Cancellation:

Cancellation requests made up to 48 hours before the scheduled tour date: Full refund of the amount paid.

Cancellation requests made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled tour date: 50% of the total tour price will be refunded.

Cancellation requests made less than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled tour date: There will be no refunds.

Cancellation due to Weather Conditions or Force Majeure:

If extreme weather conditions or unpredictable events beyond our control (such as strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) make it impossible to carry out the tour safely, we reserve the right to cancel the tour.

In such cases, customers will be given the option to reschedule the tour for an alternative date or receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Cancellation by the Company:

We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as security issues, vehicle maintenance, lack of availability of main attractions, among others.

In case of cancellation by the company, customers will have the option to reschedule the tour for an alternative date or receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Changes to the Itinerary:

We reserve the right to make changes to the tour itinerary due to unforeseen conditions such as traffic delays, temporary closure of attractions, etc. We will do our best to provide an equivalent or better experience.

Cancellation Process:

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our customer service email.

When requesting a cancellation, please provide details such as name, reservation number, tour date and reason for cancellation.


Refunds will be processed within 2 days of confirmation of cancellation.

The refund method will be the same as the original payment.

No Show (No-Show):

In the event that a customer fails to show up at the departure point on the scheduled tour date and time, no refund will be granted.

When booking a tour with Portugal Sensation Tours, Lda, customers agree to abide by this cancellation policy. We recommend that customers read the information provided carefully and contact us with any queries before booking.
